The mission of Letting Go is to do just that, let go of past trauma, insecurities that are currently experienced, and worries for the future. Letting Go of that, whatever state of time you are experiencing difficulties in, that feels like it is “holding you back”. Letting Go happens when we build our self-awareness, of our thoughts and feelings with the actions that we then choose to take. Or, not take.
Depression is “holding on” to the past. Anxiety is “holding on” to the fear and the worry of the future. Yes, we can hold on if we want, holding on to what was, or what could be. Or rather, pull into the present, be in the moment, and practice Letting Go of unrealistic expectations and irrational beliefs. The goal is for you to feel and be heard, receive validation for what you experienced, and go on an exploration of what is holding you back.
